Concessions Volunteer – Work in the concession stand preparing and selling snacks during home sporting events.

Concessions Committee – The Booster Club Vice President is the head of this committee, however, it takes a team effort to pull everything together. Please consider joining this very important committee in one of the following positons.

  • Team Leader – Open/close the concession stand and act as shift supervisor.
  • Scheduling – Work with Athletic Director to draft a master schedule of concessions events for each season and determine the manpower requirements for each event. Distribute schedule to Team Leaders and Team Liaisons and work with Team Liaisons to recruit workers.
  • Purchasing – Check inventory and place orders or shop for supplies and stock concession stand. Coordinate with representative for drink orders. [back to top]

Fundraising Committee – Be part of a group that helps organize fundraising activities such as Banner Sales, Corporate Sponsorships, Program Advertisements. We need a chairperson to coordinate placing the orders and advertising the program. We also need area coordinators who will have orders dropped off and picked up from their homes, people to pick up the order at the Scrip Service center and a person to develop materials to inform people about the program. Team Liaisons – Each NHS athletic team will need to have a parent that acts as the link between the Booster Club and your teams. Ideally, the Team Liaison should be able to attend the first 30 minutes of the monthly Booster Club meeting to learn about what’s going on with the schools athletic programs and share ideas about how Boosters can help these programs. In the past, Team Liaisons have helped present program grant requests for equipment, supplies and team expenses and the Booster Club was able to fund over $22,000 in requests last year!
