Scholarships

Calling all senior families - be sure to fill out the Boosters Scholarship form Due May 8, 2026 by 3:00pm!

2026 Newberg Booster Club Scholarship

Newberg Booster Club will award four scholarships, each in the amount of $1000. The scholarships will be awarded to student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in athletics, academics and volunteer service in the community. These student-athletes will also demonstrate high standards of commitment and character. The scholarships will be awarded at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 sports seasons in May. 

 QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY:

• Student-athlete must be a graduating senior of Newberg High School. 

• Student-athletes must have been involved in a varsity sport this current year. 

• Student-athletes must have participated in at least four sports seasons. 

• The student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0+(unweighted).

• Student-athletes must be accepted to a post-secondary college or program. 

• Student-athletes must be enrolled in post-secondary college or program to receive payment, if awarded. 

• The student-athlete must have had no violations of the Athletic Code of Conduct during their time at Newberg High School. 

GUIDELINES TO APPLY: 

• Complete the Google Form application

• Application deadline is May 8th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PDT.

• Late applications are not accepted.

• Scholarships are given on the basis of merit. Financial need is not a factor or consideration in applying for this scholarship.

• This is not a renewable scholarship.

• Scholarship Selection Committee – No identifying information about applicants will be given to the selection committee. Parents of the applicant(s) may not serve on the selection committee
